Parking Information and Maps to University of Houston
Parking Information
You MUST obtain a $3 visitor parking permit to park on campus at UH. To do this, visit the Information Center on Cullen Blvd near the Athletics/Alumni Facility (see map below--Information Centers are indicated by stars).
Directions from Downtown (Going South on I-45)
- exit Cullen
- pass Elgin St
- Information Center is on right hand side
Directions from Galveston (Going North on I-45)
- exit Elgin St
- turn left on Cullen
- Information Center is on right hand side
$3 all day visitor parking includes all student parking lots (including 16B).

Directions from Downtown (Going South on I-45)
- exit Cullen
- turn right on Cullen
- turn left at 1st light, Elgin St.
- turn right into UH Entrance 18
- the Architecture Building is straight ahead
- to park, turn right at stop sign
- turn right into parking lot 16B
Directions from Galveston (Going North on I-45)
- exit Elgin St and go left under I-45
- turn left into UH entrance 18
- the Architecture Building is straight ahead
- to park, turn right at stop sign
- turn right into parking lot 16B
